Customers: people built from the quotes react to your price

Five parents built from the sample's quotes heard the price of $5 a month, and none of them would pay it. They're a rehearsal and labelled as one. Pro and Max run this section on page three, where people built from the quotes on page two react to your price.

Fig. 1 · What it looks like on the sample read

On the sample read the section built 5 people from 15 quotes and put the price of $5 a month to each of them. Each one has a role for a name, a reaction in the first person, and what they'd do instead. One of them is the parent trying to share one dinner, built from three quotes. In rehearsal, that parent says "I’m not ready to pay $5 a month just to rearrange the foods we already eat."

The section's own count reads "0 of 5 would pay $5 a month in rehearsal. What a persona says is not evidence." That line carries the label "no source says this", because a rehearsal is no source.

Fig. 2 · What it rests on

The section builds three to five people, and each one rests on at least two quotes from page two that plausibly come from that kind of person. How they talk, what they already pay for and what they care about come from those quotes only. Each person gets a role for a name, such as the parent seeking a shared dinner rotation, and has no face and no real person's name. Then each one hears your idea at your price and says whether they'd pay, at what price they'd walk away, and what they'd do instead.

The price is the one in your story, marked as your assumption. When your story has no price, the people hear the range the sellers print, marked as sourced. The sellers' prices from who already sells it and the answer on who pays shape what each person already spends.

Fig. 3 · Why it's labelled a rehearsal

What a built person says isn't something anyone said, so nothing here counts toward a score. The section helps you hear how your price lands with the words of real people behind it. It shows the objections you're likely to meet before you ask anyone for money. The number that counts is still a purchase, which is where the next steps end.

Fig. 4 · What "no source says this" means here

When page two holds fewer than two quotes, the section builds nobody, and it says how many quotes it found against the two a person needs. The count of who would pay always carries "no source says this", whatever it says.

Fig. 5 · Which plan runs it, and what would change it

Pro and Max run it on page three, with the four opinions and the next steps. It runs again when you change the price, who has the problem or what you'll build, in one sentence (Iterating). To hear a different price, say "the same thing at $9 a month", and the people in the new read hear that price. Next on the page, four opinions on the idea read the same pages from four seats.
